“To Whom It May Concern …”
… a few students at our school would like to start a CMDA chapter on our campus. We are not sure what we need to do in order to make that happen. Will you please let us know.
Seriously, those are dream emails! I received two last month alone. One school just started in the fall & another I did not even know existed.
To know that we can come along so simply to help give students confidence, encouragement, a framework, and support is priceless. And God gets so much glory and his Kingdom has the potential to expand for every student on that campus. It’s incredible, really.
Sometimes those emails are simply from students who did not know whether a chapter even existed on their campus or not. Other times they are new schools or re-newed chapters.
In only eighteen-twenty months I have been able to meet with student leaders in situations like this more than twice a month, on average. I’m humbled, honored, and overjoyed to walk alongside true student leaders to help empower them to live out their faith in practice so that they may eventually live out their faith in their practice!
Below, Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine (Rocky Vista) met at Emanuel Baptist Church with a collection of Christian attendings just recently. Their school just opened this term!
