I don’t know if I’ve ever reflected upon all that happened in a year unless it ws an insane year. It was a pretty quiet year for us, relatively speaking. That being said, here’s my stream of consciousness bullet list:
- Sherry grew in the Lord through spiritual disciplines unlike any year since I’ve known her (Practicing the Way material with John Mark Comer)
- Sherry and I spent our 25th year married together.
- Finished major renovation in the garage – making Katey an apartment!
- Katey got a puppy
- Eagles won the Super Bowl. … and then they played the second half.
- Caleb & Katie got a dog
- Sherry turned 50
- Caleb went to Europe
- Kenize, Katey, and Sherry went to Disneyland twice, once with cousins and once with Kenzie’s roommate
- Kenzie finished her first year in TN
- Stayed at family camp for a week for the first time in over 10 years
- Kenzie decided to stay home instead of go back to TN
- Caleb & Katie are college seniors
- Got back to the gym
- Sherry got to sleep in the bed without me for about 100 nights (that sounds bad, but she really does enjoy having the whole bed to herself).
- Saw the Phillies play 5 times in 4 stadiums!
- Did I mention the Eagles won the Super Bowl? (34-0 was SOOOOO awesome!)
- Saw my mom & dad on two occasions this year
- Katey got baptized!
- Finished earning my ThM
- Used a jackhammer for the first time as I begin building a bathroom in the garage
- Praying about other adventures that God may be leading us towards
